Izaba joins Opportunity@Work as the People & Culture Manager. She is responsible for developing and executing initiatives that will support and enable the diverse and dedicated team at Oppportunity@work to succeed and contribute to the organization’s mission. She will lead new hire onboarding to develop the organization’s approach to Learning and Development, as well as impacting every stage of the O@W team member lifecycle. Izaba thrives on breaking down stereotypes and overcoming impossible tasks.
Izaba has a true passion for education around DE&I, always guiding team members in identifying their unconscious bias and not only recognizing it but also how to approach it appropriately and effectively. Tying to DE&I education, Izaba is a firm believer that everyone is a leader of tomorrow. She has previously worked with organizations to initiate and provide Learning & Development opportunities to push employees to grow at a pace that works for their growth.
Izaba has previously worked at AAPC, GAMA International, Hilton Corporate and Clarabridge. Bringing in a diverse background with a common theme of human capital as the main core of a successful organization.
Not only does she break stereotypes in the professional world, but also in her personal life. Izaba is a competitive powerlifter, holding several world, federal and state records in 2 different federations.
