UX/UI Architect
Maurice McKinney was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a proud husband of 13 years and an amazing father to 3 beautiful children. Maurice is an HBCU graduate (Lincoln University of Missouri) with 13+ years of experience in IT and Marketing. His passion for user-centered design has been spread throughout various organizations like the Federal Reserve Bank and retailer Lowe’s.
Maurice has performed in key roles such as Lead Web Developer, Sr UI Engineer, Sr UX Designer and is looking forward to sharing his expertise as the UX Architect. He plans to focus on building an effective design system, establishing UX best practices and introducing some unique UX workshops.
When he is not at a computer, he’s traveling with his family. They enjoy the beach, theme parks, and great food. Family time is important and cherished in the McKinney household, and can be highly competitive when it comes to board games.
