Kate Boyer is an imaginative and introspective problem-solver with a deep understanding of the big picture and how to get there. She exemplifies process innovation, delivery, and impact in creating equitable and effective onramps for those often underrepresented in middle-wage careers.
A self-proclaimed native Atlantan, Kate has eighteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector leading diverse, innovative teams with a focus on organizational strategy and impact. Kate joins Opportunity@Work’s Customer Service & Delivery team as the Senior Director, Delivery and Impact, scaling the hiring of workers who are Skilled Through Alternative Routes (STARs) nationwide.
Most recently, Kate served as the Vice President of Learner Success at Per Scholas, where she was instrumental in using human-centered design and strategic processes to develop and implement an equitable candidate and learner journey, that centered on the principles of DEIB. Kate’s impact was instrumental in growing Per Scholas’ learner base to 3,000 per year with an 85% graduation rate.
When Kate’s not busy landing work-related planes, she’s spending time with her family — husband, Matt, a local attorney and military service member, and their four children, Blakely, Ansley, Nevaeh, and Messiah. She loves spending time pretending to be a foodie checking out what is new on the Atlanta restaurant scene and being on the Beltline.
